Brief Biographies of
Board Members
Seeking Reappointment to the Board
of Four County Players
Linda L. Clarke
Linda has been involved with Four County Players
since the summer of 2003, and on the Board of
Directors since 2004. She has been a stage
manager, producer, actor, light board operator,
and general workhorse for the theater. She has
also served as Bistro Coordinator from 2005-
2007. She has most recently been seen on stage
in Miracle on 34th Street, The Book of
Liz, and Come Back to the Five and Dime
Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Linda also recently
ran the light board for Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Linda
remains very dedicated to Four County Players
and has enjoyed her time on the Board of
Directors. She looks forward to another term of
service to the theater.
Tracie S. Skipper
Tracie Skipper returned to the board in the
spring of 2007 to fill a vacant seat. Since
she has returned she has planned two
seasons, produced a show, done lighting
design for several more. She and her husband
Ron have taken over the care and maintenance
of all the lighting and sound equipment. She
has a BFA in technical theatre from Longwood
College and was an Equity stage manager for
many years before she moved to
Charlottesville to settle down. She
plans to lighting design all four of next
seasons shows and produce the Christmas
show. She is also a cleaning and
organizing machine.
Gary White
Gary has been on the board of directors
since 2005, and has been serving as
Secretary for the past two years. He
is seen onstage quite often, recently as the
title role in Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat and is currently
in our production of Lend Me a Tenor.
He has stage managed our productions of
Steel Magnolias and Company, and
has worked in some capacity on most of our
shows since his first involvement. He got
his start with 4CP in 2002 as a chorus
member in Man of La Mancha, and
considers this his “theatrical home.”
